A couple of months ago I had a fun branding session at The Rural Society. These amazing photos were taken by Cait Rose Photography! I’ve admired Cait’s work for awhile and was so glad that we finally got to meet.

Cait and I created a mood board full of inspiration for my branding session. Then, we both put our minds together and generated an amazing shoot, and that’s exactly how it turned out. I wanted to create imagery of myself that truly reflected what I do. Photography and stationery are expressions of my love language, and I treasure creating art for my couples!

We chose to do the photos at an indoor location since these were taken during the winter months earlier this year. The Rural Society in Mount Vernon, Ohio was the perfect space. You couldn’t even tell it was freezing outside with the vibe of this greenhouse that contained luscious plants and greenery – livening up the setting.

It was so great to work with Cait! I was immediately drawn to her authentic photography style and she produced the exact mood I desired. Her approach to capturing everything I do in my business was spot on! One feature that I am excited to share is the rapid-fire images of me revealing an invitation suite that I made, as well as inserting a roll of film into my camera. She took these series of images so that I could create animated gifs out of the photos. Check out the first one in this blog. I can’t wait to see use more of these!

I always try to do a branding session for myself at least once a year. This helps me have fresh content for myself, plus, I am always changing my hairstyle up! 😉 I can take these new headshots, photos of my stationery items, and shots of my cameras and incorporate them into my website, as well as use them on my social media pages.
