Claudia and Trevor’s engagement session at Franklin Park Conservatory was a dream! These two are high school sweethearts have been together for seven years. When they were in school, they ran cross country together. Once it was time for them to head to college, they did “long distance dating.” I’ve known them since we were growing up, so it’s humbling to have the opportunity to be part of this chapter in their life and photograph their wedding.
Franklin Park Conservatory gives a wide variety of picturesque locations. After taking photos around the gorgeous community gardens, we headed to the Scioto Mile in Downtown Columbus. The city always makes for a perfect setting, plus Claudia and Trevor’s outfits complimenting each other so well. If you need suggestions on what to wear for your engagement session, click here!
These two got engaged on “the hill” in the park of their hometown in Russia, Ohio. This is where it all began with their cross country practices held there. Trevor invited Claudia for a walk at this park during their lunch break, so when Trevor popped the question, Claudia was completely surprised! Both sets of parents were also there to witness and celebrate with them.
One thing I value in my photography is that all of my couples completely trust me when it comes to posing them and giving them prompts – and that’s exactly how Claudia and Trevor were! During your photo session, I always ask my couples if they have any pose ideas that they specifically want and I typically hear “not really, we trust you!” That always makes me so happy!
Claudia and Trevor are getting married this August back in my hometown. They’re so excited to finally start this next chapter of their lives and I can’t wait for their big day!
