Nick and Emily’s wedding day was filled with beautiful details, matching accents, and the perfect blend of love and support from their family and friends.

Bringing me to St. Elizabeth Church in Columbus, this modern Catholic Church adorned a colorful, large stained glass window – a part of its facade that provided the perfect backdrop for a few shots of Emily’s elegant wedding dress. Turning these into black and white shots, I love how they turned out.

Spotty June rain showers didn’t keep the bridal party tucked away for their photos either. They braved the – sometimes large – raindrops to capture a few photos outside of the church under a big shade tree. The wedding party was seriously troopers, especially the bridesmaids. Heels, dresses, some mud… I appreciate them trusting me with this location, even if some of them didn’t have shoes on. Like I said. Troopers.

Speaking of bridesmaids, Emily’s bridesmaids put together all of their flower arrangements – even the bouquets! The pop of pink in their decor was the perfect accent color to their navy and gray color scheme.

When it came time for the ceremony, guests filled the pews where Nick and Emily shared a beautiful ceremony. I caught Emily taking it all in and smiling out to her family at one point in their ceremony… All the feels!

After the ceremony we traveled to Sharon Woods where we captured some of my absolute favorites of the new bride and groom! I even grabbed some extra bridal shots, just because how couldn’t you! Emily is gorgeous!

Thanking this couple one more time for choosing me to capture their wedding… and dance along with their guests at the reception 🙂
