I can’t believe I’m talking about how we are rounding out the year! 2020 is flying by! I decided to round up some of my latest stationery design work by showcasing a few of my favorites from this year so far. Plus, some of my favorite trends in designing wedding stationery below.
Cream-Colored Paper: It’s versatile and photographs so well.
Hand-Dyed Silk Ribbon: Light weight and elegant to keep everything together.
Mini Tassels: An unexpected embellishment.
Vellum Wraps: See through white paper to enclose sets.
White Ink: Paired with darker-colored papers, the texture of white ink is so amazing.
Harvest-Colored Envelopes: A classy upgrade from regular white envelopes.
Possibly my all-time favorite styled wedding invitation suite is this one! I designed this set for the Styled Shoots Across America Shoot Crawl in New Jersey. I love an opportunity to be creative and push the envelope a little. A modern take on elegance, these whimsical watercolor floral graphics were paired with sorbet yellow colored euro flap envelopes with a red-patterned Art Deco envelope liner. The menus are embellished with a gold tassel and the vellum wrap tied with hand-dyed green silk ribbon from the Lesser Bear.
Next up, these destination vow renewal invitations! As wedding photographers themselves, I knew this couple would appreciate simplicity. These fine art floral illustrations were the perfect way to tie in their beach vow renewal ceremony, yet stay true to their inspiration board, which consisted of fall, earthy tones. This suite is paired with cream colored euro flap envelopes with a metallic copper envelope liner. The floral graphic is printed in white ink – a favorite elevated look of mine! The set is tied together with fawn-colored, hand dyed silk from the Lesser Bear. They also utilized my calligraphy services for full guest addressing on their envelopes.
Navy blue and blush with gold accents was the color scheme of this wedding. I designed all paper goods from the save the dates, to the bridal shower invites and programs. Navy ink printed on dusty blue colored paper complimented the darker hue of the cobalt blue colored euro flap envelope. Full guest address printing was completed with white ink. The suite was encompassed by a floral vellum wrap and tied with twine string. My favorite though, the bridal shower invites! White ink printed on a cobalt blue paper. The texture of these was amazing! I also did a customized bar sign with a signature cocktail with a graphic of their pup, called “The Buckeye.”

Next, another styled invitation suite I was excited to work on with Sheila of Delana Formals at Jorgensen Farms in Columbus, Ohio. Bringing together hues of light blue, pink and corral, this modern and minimal suite primarily consisted of typography design and a custom floral monogram. I got to join in on photographing this shoot and style a few different vignettes. Playing with loose florals from Fezz and Hazel was a highlight from this day!
These mauve colored floral graphics were a highlight of this suite! This couple’s wedding vibe was rustic and chic, so harvest-colored euro flap envelope liners were a must to pair with the cream puff colored paper. I also did a custom watercolor floral wreath monogram on the back of their invite.
Switching it up from wedding invitations, these elegant baby shower invitations were a breath of fresh air. Opting for a more sophisticated look, watercolor eucalyptus on cream puff colored paper was the perfect combo inside a harvest-colored euro flap envelope. I also created a matching baby shower bingo card and circular sheet stickers used for a sleeve of cookies as the baby shower favor.
